Cryptowerk Presents at CEBIT and NOAH18
Cryptowerk was honored to present our vision for using blockchains to detect and deter fraud at CEBIT2018 and NOAH18, two conferences held in Germany earlier this month.
At CEBIT, Europe’s annual business festival for innovation and digitization, Cryptowerk’s VP of Business Development, Bernhard Hecker, presented two sessions, including a presentation on the center stage at the Blockchain Summit, attended by over 200 visitors and 18,000 online viewers:
Cryptowerk’s presentation asked the fundamental question: “In a world where we increasingly rely on data to run every aspect of our businesses, how do we know whether we can trust our data?” The ability to instantly verify the authenticity and integrity of data and systems is essential to business in the digital age.
Cryptowerk also gave a 20-minute presentation on the expert stage at CEBIT. The session was attended by an audience of over 150 visitors and 14,000 online viewers.
Real-world applications of blockchain are still relatively rare, and a topic that generates a lot of interest among business innovators. The Cryptowerk presentations sparked an interview with European Business, one of Europe’s most international business magazines providing its readers worldwide with a global business perspective on people, companies and ideas that are shaping the economic development in Europe.
“Just imagine we can make research data, for example in medicine, unforgeable; we can prove that certain news reports have not been modified; we can guarantee that products are real or what code on what system was being executed at what time. Companies can disclose data to consumers, and it’s tamper-proof. Customers can trust the companies. Business transactions can be tracked and checked very quickly.” – Bernhard Hecker, VP Business Development Europe, Cryptowerk
In early June, Cryptowerk also presented at NOAH18 in Berlin, a conference with the mission to bring together future-shaping executives and investors active across segments driven by digital revolution.
The event was attended by over 3,500 attendees featuring a unique mix of CEOs from European traditional large caps and top-funded startups.
There has been a lot of talk about blockchains, but practical business applications are still rare. Cryptowerk is changing that by helping companies rapidly develop practical applications using blockchains that drive real business benefits. Our focus on detecting and deterring fraud in business systems and processes makes these applications a top priority for business executives.
